On 14 November 2023, the Sustainable Finance Research Group of the University of Hamburg, in cooperation with the “Wissenschaftsplattform Sustainable Finance (WPSF)” and the scientific accompanying project “Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection (SFCP)” of the BMBF funding measure “Climate Protection and Finance (KlimFi)” and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, is organizing an event as part of the Sustainable Finance Summit 2023.
Under the title “Sustainability Reporting and Impact: Regulation, Measurement, Effect”, various keynotes and panel discussions will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Chamber of Skilled Crafts at Holstenwall 12 in Hamburg. There will also be contributions from Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Lopatta.
The WPSF’s research accompanies and informs the process of sustainable transformation at the interface between the financial and real economy. The platform’s research agenda is characterized by a strong connection to the political and practical discourse and continuously involves its stakeholders. The accompanying SFCP project focuses on the scientific synthesis and networking of 14 joint projects in the research areas of climate and sustainable finance. In addition, the SFCP project establishes a dialog with stakeholders from politics and the financial sector on the research results achieved within the projects.
